Being a Mother Tip #7 - Being present and mindful
Challenges make it difficult to be present and mindful with your child. Fear causes us to regret the past and obsess about the future. Ever done that? All of us do. As human beings we live our lives largely in memory and imagination. We are either remembering the past or imagining the future. Physically our bodies are present, but our minds are elsewhere. Take a few deep breathes and focus. Try to be fully present in the moment. Try to be fully mindful. This can be very…

God's there to Help
It Seems in this Life we’re all doing
The very best that we can
And then we come to a point in our life
Where there’s more to do than we can.
And humbled we are led to the Alter,
And sometimes we pray to the Lord,
And ask if there is some way to make it better
And then we open up the door,
And a higher power comes to us
To ease the burdons of a heavy load.
And we open up our hearts and mind
To be able to let God…

ABUNDANCE IS REALIZED
I am one with the source, God infinite good. This recognition establishes me in the awareness of an all loving and all giving God. It is indeed the Father's good pleasure to give me the kingdom and it is my good pleasure to accept it! I could never want for anything because it has already been supplied.
I have been given a lavishly abundant life. I have an abundance of faith in an all-providing source that continues to supply me with an endless flow of good. I am never needy…

SHARE WITH THE WORLD
Before Reading this Blog, I want to make it clear this is NOT an attempt to take you from this website, far from it. we have come up with an idea to share testimonies etc across the internet and asking you to take part in it.
To do this you need to be a member as a follower of Jesus, there is no other way round it unless you are just clicking and sharing…

hmmmmm
The Wright brothers made the law of gravity inoperative by the operation of a higher law called aerodynamics. If that higher law stops working, the plane will tumble to the ground because the first law isn't dead.
When you combine the combustion of the Holy Spirit with the speed of obedience and the airflow of holiness, you're lifted to a new level of spiritual life because the power of the spirit working in you transcends the law of sin and death.
Have you ever seen a sidewalk…

Paul wrote, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting" (Gal.6:7-8). With Paul's words in mind, consider the following observations about the sowing of sin.
The sowing of sin rises out of deception. Souls are fooled into believing that the pleasures of sin will last forever when, in fact, they are…

Being a Mother Tip #6 - Increase quality time with your child
I recommend that you start to make special opportunities to be with your child by learning the 10-20-10 strategy on a regular basis. Here’s a formula to follow. You spend 10 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes in the afternoon, and 10 minutes in the evening with your child. These are special opportunities to be with your child. These opportunities are to just listen without judging, blaming, or shaming. Validate whatever your child is saying and feeling. Validation does not mean…

still thoughts
Before many of us became Christians, we had this nagging sense that life wasn't about money, power, or sex. But what else was there?
Somewhere along the line, we discovered that our purpose in life was to serve God. Each of us was confronted by God's love demonstrated in the death of Jesus, the Lamb of God, on a roman cross. As we looked at his bloodied body, there was no longer any doubt in our minds. Jesus didn't just die; he gave his life for me. Finally we understood David, who…

WHAT IS YOUR PRIORITY?
Dearly Beloved,
WHAT IS YOUR PRIORITY?
"I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:20-21 NIV).
April 1, 2012 was a unique day. It was the first day of the month of April. It was the first day of the second quarter of the year. It was the day set apart…

The Bible never tells us that Samson looked like Hulk Hogan, he may have looked more like Woody Allen, His strength was a secret until the spirit of lord powerfully took control of him. Samson’s superhuman strength came from God. Four times the spirit took control of Samson. With his bare hands, Samson ripped apart a lion's jaws. He killed 1,000 men with a donkey jawbone, and he set 300 foxes on a fiery rampage through Philistine fields to destroy their crops.
Samson, a man of…

Some of us men need a ton of brick dumped on our heads before we realize what we are doing is not pleasing to god. Dropping bricks isn't Gods preferred method of doing things, however, He usually starts with a gentle reminder, then moves on to more drastic measures of getting attention.
When the philistines captured the Ark of God. God gave those people a subtle warning to return the ark; he made the idol dragon fall in front of the ark. When the Philistines didn't take the hint, God…

Being a Mother Tip #5 - Reverse negative neurological feedback loops
You can reverse negative feedback loops by interrupting your child’s stress cycle. This will help you connect with your child. Begin by exploring what is contributing to the negative neurological feedback loops within the family. You need to identify your negative reactions to your child’s behavior. Begin to understand what in your past triggers this negative reaction. Understanding this is critical in developing secure attachments with children. You need to have an understanding…

Call on my Name
Then give everything you’ve got and let it be.
And go the place where you can release
All of your burdons to me.
Come to me when you’re weary.
Come to me when you’re in need,
Call upon my name
And lay down your cross
And with a breath and a smile be free.
For you are not alone on this path,
And you can find great peace within,
And when you go to the…

just my thoughts
Putting an egg in the microwave isn't recommended, Those of us who have tried it have ended up cleaning up nearly microscopic pieces of scrambled egg from the microwave interior surfaces.
Why does this happen? Simple, steam builds up inside the shell as the egg is heated, and since there's nowhere for the steam to go the egg explodes. If the steam had an outlet, there would be no explosion. Our emotions work like steam in the eggshell. Anything from laughter to sadness to anger eases…

I COOPERATE WITH SPIRIT
I am one with the Spirit of God. This presence and power radiates within me, through me and over flows to the outer and takes over. Spirit is forever expanding by the renewing of the mind. I am the demonstration of this cooperative spiritual expansion.
Every fiber of my being is cooperating with the still small voice of Spirit that is perfectly guiding and directing my every thought, action and deed. This power fills me with right ideas that are motivated by love and…

Being a Mother Tip #4 - Be slow to anger and quick to listen and to forgive
James 1:19-21tells us to be “quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,” and ready to forgive (my paraphrase of verse 21). I recently found a new perspective for forgiveness. The Daily Word (paraphrased), April 18, 2012 thought for the day: “I give the gift of forgiveness for the blessing of peace of mind.” Forgive is the combination of the words give and for. Ask yourself what you would be willing to give for peace of mind. Would you be willing to give up pain and…

HOW OPEN-MINDED ARE YOU?
Dearly Beloved,
HOW OPEN-MINDED ARE YOU?
"Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another" (Romans 1:22-24 NIV).

Being a Mother Tip #3 - The three phase intervention
Use the three phase intervention to help connect with your child. The three phase intervention consists of reflect, relate, and regulate. Reflect: How am I feeling right now? It is not OK for a parent to say to a child ‘Tell me how you feel” unless the parent has examined his or her own feelings. When you connect to yourself, you can communicate in a secure way. Relate: While you’re breathing say “I feel ________ right now, and I need to know how you feel”. Your child may not…

I ONLY SHARE GOOD NEWS
I am an instrument of God. I dwell in high places where there is only divine perfection.
The words I speak inspire, uplift and vibrate with joy. All negative outward appearances are dissolved by the light of Truth and have no power. I bring tidings of goodness and joy wherever I go.
There is nothing that could impede my ability to progress or succeed. I am one of a kind, made in the image and likeness of the Almighty. I turn within for guidance and receive it…

What is a Christian Social Network?
With over 350,000 churches in the United States its can be hard to keep track of what Christian resources are in your community. We find that the best way to meet Christian friends is through a Christian Social Network that provides both rich faith-based content and the ability to meet people to learn about churches and other faith-based organizations near you. PrayerGroup is The Social Network for Christians.
Christian Social Networking is among the fastest growing segments on the internet, as it allows members to enjoy their faith online through Christian blogs, prayer requests and other faith-based forums. Commonly referred to as the Christian Facebook, Christian Social Networks like PrayerGroup, also allow Members to connect through Christian Chat forums which provide a real-time exchange. PrayerGroup.org is among the fastest growing Christian Social Networks in the world. It's online Christian Community features more than 70,000 churches in the United State making it the largest free online church community in the country. Christian Blogs and Christian Articles
Many Christians have found that they can grow and share their faith through daily or weekly blogs. A Christian blog is a short article that allows the writer to share his or her experiences in life with the reader. Frequently, a Christian blog can discuss topics such as the bible, bible verses or other traditional religious topics or it can be a casual discussion about Christian life including family, friends or other topics.
There are thousands of individual Christian blogs on the internet but there are very few places where people can view Christian blogs from a variety of different writers. PrayerGroup’s Christian blog section allows its Members to read blogs from people all over the world. Many blogs are inspirational, others discuss challenges we face in life as Christians. By sharing our works in one Christian community, we are able to see different viewpoints, follow certain writers or make new friends through a connection we make in either reading or writing a Christian blog. Often referred to as the Christian Facebook, PrayerGroup provides rich socially responsible content that goes well beyond traditional social networks.
Come join us in sharing your faith through your own Christian blog. Share with others on PrayerGroup, Facebook or Twitter all at one time with a simple click. PrayerGroup’s Word Press application even allows existing Christian blog sites to share your external blogs on your PrayerGroup profile page.

How to Pray - Finding Your Voice With God
Each afternoon, you probably talk about your day with your family or friends, reviewing the highlights and perhaps discussing problems you faced that day. Daily prayer is reviewing your day with God. It is how we count our blessings for what went well or seek guidance when we need it. Prayer is an intimate conversation, where you can say anything with the understanding that forgiveness and grace can be yours. There are many types of prayer. There are words of praise for God's magnificence, prayers expressing gratitude for your blessings or simple humble requests of God when you or another is in need. Prayer is simply a conversation with God and like all relationships, the more we communicate, the closer we become with the Lord. The way you communicate with God, need not be like anyone else. Some pray through meditation (or complete silence), while others speak out loud. Prayer often takes practice before you find your "voice" with God and you begin to feel comfortable with the relationship you are building with him.
Christian Prayer Requests - Think Prayer at www.thinkprayer.com
The term prayer group refers to a small group of people that come together to pray for those in need. Fellowships around the world do this while recognizing that collective prayer is both powerful and healing.
Today, through social media, we are able to connect Christian from different countries and cultures instantly. Through an international prayer request forum, PrayerGroup is able to provide a means for Christians to post prayer requests worldwide and receive immediate responses as others pray for them in kindness.
With over 91 countries represented in PrayerGroup, our international prayer request forum is a place where friendships are immediately developed through the simple act of prayer. We are also able to bring Christians together to pray for a common cause that may be affecting our world.
In addition to the international prayer request forum, PrayerGroup’s Christian Community allows members to pray in real-time through its Christian Chat feature. Here, you will find many Members who come together to pray or discuss the faith and develop new friendships.

One of the most powerful ways to share God’s word is through your own communication with friends, family, and others. Sharing the gospel by word-of-mouth has been instrumental to sharing the faith for centuries.
Today, our technology allows us to share in ways that fit our times. Email, social media and christian chat are all relatively new ways Christians can both share and learn from others. The Christian Chat feature on PrayerGroup allows Members to meet new people from around the world. Whether your discussion is about faith or simply a casual conversation about life, Christian Chat provides a new technology for groups and individuals to connect in a new way. Many groups use the Christian Chat feature to pray in real time or for bible study.
Try our Christian Chat feature on PrayerGroup and see how many new friends you can make in over 91 countries.

Our online bible in .pdf format is indexed by chapters allowing readers the ability to quickly find chapter and verse. In addition, the digital bible is also fully searchable, and allows the user to type any word in the search parameters. Since the text of the bible is fully recognized, you may also highlight, copy and paste portions of the bible text for use in online posts or for sharing in bible study.
In addition, PrayerGroup also offers an ebook bible for those who prefer the feeling of a digital bible but with the look and page turn of a transitional text. Our ebook bible is also searchable when viewed in full page format.

The Christian dating scene has changed considerably over the last decade. There seems to be a Christian dating site everywhere you look. We are free, we are Christian and our social network allows you to simply meet other people, enjoy their company and discuss whatever the two you might have in common. If this sounds simple, that becuase it is. This is how dating has worked for centuries. No forms, no surveys, no complicated algorythms...
