THE POWER OF RESURRECTION
Dear my beloved,
GREETINGS TO YOU IN THE WONDERFUL NAME OF JESUS !
There is power in the name of Jesus. The power which can break the
impossibilities of the universe!. The power which can generate hundred
thousands of mini power stations to distroy the bondages of satan. No world
power can stand against it. It is uneque!... It is unique because, the
unique God is behind it !. It is supernatural power which can bring
possibilities out of impossibilities.
I am talking about the power of resurrection !. The power which had raised
Jesus from the tomb that human made. It was not possible for death to hold
the son of God for ever under the tomb-slab. When the power of God had come
from the presence of the Most High above, nothing could stop that power from
doing what was meant by it !. This is the power of resurrection. This power
can change human beings....This power changed me.....Nothing in the world
can change the basic nature and character of a human being. But the power
of God can change it. Even if we spend tens of years, do you think, can we
change the behaviour of our child ?...Can we change ourselves ?...No..we
cannot change ourselves immediately....But God can change you and me....it
does not take even an hour! This is the power of resurrection !. The power
that changed Saul to Paul, the power that changed Simon to Peter, the same
power is changing many hundred thousands of people since then untill that
appointed day!....
As we discussed last week, Appostle Paul did not have any special training
to do the ministry of the Lord. Nobody was there to teach him the inner
depths of the love of Jesus. But he was changed from head to foot,
internally and externally, on the day he had an encounter with Jesus in
Damascus. He saw a light flashing from above around him. It took not even a
second that Saul is changed to Paul. The power which the Most High exerted
in Chirst when He raised Him from the dead (Ephes 1:20), was put on Saul for
his conversion. We see in the Word of God that Appostle Paul was being used
in a mighty way by the Lord before the Gentiles and their kings and before
the people of Israel(Acts 9:15). His testimony is being used by the Lord in
changing many thousands around the world.
My dear, do you think that you cannot be a person whom the Most High is
looking for to be used ?. Do you think that you cannot be like Appostle Paul
or any of the servants of the Lord ?. Do you think, you are lacking many
thing within you to have the will of God accomplished in you ? Here is an
answer for you.....the one who changed me can change you too.....Is anything
too hard for the Lord...?... No...nothing is too hard for my Lord...You ask
the Lord to send His power on you....the power of resurrection will
penetrate through your problems of any kind...You will be relieved from the
clutches of satan....you will start hating doing sins...you thoughts will be
purified....your body,soul and the spirit will be transformed in tune with
the plan of the Lord...you will become a different person....this is my
testimony.....I was not worth to be called a believer...there was no truth
in me ....I was like a rotten sack....I had no hope in my life ......I was
doing what I was feeling correct....I never used to listen to the words of
the children of God....I had my own ideas which I thought to be the
best.....I WENT ASTRAY.....I was ignored...neglected...scoffed and laughed
at....thrown to the rock-bottom....Even then I could not look up to my
Father...... But His love came to me.....I had an encounter with my Lord on
one of those unfortunate days...4 years ago....I felt a great love, whcih I
never had seen or experienced in my life before...I submitted myself
unconditionally unto Him...I had nothing to give to Him but a very big
burden of sins....He took them away...He cleanced me and washed all the
dirts with His precious blood...He gave me a new heart.....my body, soul and
spirit was transformed....He annointed me by His Holy Spirit and Grace....He
use me in His way...where I have no quality....I said only one word to
Him.....LORD, I AM AVAILABLE FOR YOU....
My dear, He wants you....He will fill you.....He will do all alterations in
you, provided you make yourself available for Him. His mighty hands will
mould a new vessel from you and He will fill new vine in you. Do not be
religious but submit yourself to be spiritual. Do not be guided by the
letters, but be guided by the Spirit of God. You can overcome the
temptations, tests and trials by the power of God. You will start hating
sins. He cares you.....He does not want you to be lost....Are we fools to
loose the love of God for the useless, selfish, and a mortal name on the
earth ?.
Jesus said, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up
his cross daily and follow me........what good is it for a man to gain the
whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self ?"
