PrayerGroup - Christian Social Network & Christian Facebook

Christian Social Network - Christian Blog - Christian Facebook

Hello! Welcome to PrayerGroup! We are so glad you have joined our community of faith.

Many members have asked how they can get started on PrayerGroup so we have prepared this short list so you can begin using the site to its fullest. Here are some of the things you can do right away:

1.)     Invite your family and friends to join you on PrayerGroup. You can do this by going to the invite tab on the main page and either importing your contacts or inviting individuals. The more people you know in PrayerGroup, the more sharing you can do right away. You can click here to start: http://www.prayergroup.org/main/invitation/new?xg_source=tab

2.)     Share pictures, videos, status updates or anything you feel is important to you with your friends and family. PrayerGroup is about praise, but we are also about the Christian Life. Enjoying and sharing your life here on PrayerGroup can be very rewarding. Click here to share photos then click add: http://www.prayergroup.org/photo

3.)     Look around on the Member page… there are Christians from all over the world here. Go to their profile pages and invite them to be your friend on PrayerGroup. You can develop meaningful relationships over time that you never thought would be possible. Just click "Add as Friend" on the profile page of the person and a message will be sent to them. Click here to see all our members: http://www.prayergroup.org/profiles/members/

4.)     Share your faith through blogs, videos and music. You can do this by visiting the tabs on the main page. Simply click “add” and paste the URL from the location of the video. YouTube videos for example easily load into PrayerGroup by simply pasting the URL.

5.)     Join our Prayer Request forum where you can either post a request or respond to someone in kindness. By joining, you will be notified of all new requests. You can find this forum under the Prayer & Praise tab on the main page. Click here to see our Prayer Request wall: http://www.prayergroup.org/group/prayerrequestandpraise/forum

6.)     The status section on your profile page is the place to share your thoughts with Friends and Members. What's on your mind? Automatically post your status update to your Facebook or Twitter page. By checking the small box below your status in PrayerGroup, your post will appear on your Facebook or Twitter page. You can also share photos, videos and other content directly to your Facebook or Twitter account. There’s no need to post in two places!

7.) Find your church on PrayerGroup. If it's not there, simply add it and make it a place for you and your fellowship to meet and share. You can invite your fellowship to join your church group if you'd like.

8.) PrayerGroup is by default an open community. This means that all member profiles can be viewed by any other member. You are welcome to customize your privacy settings to restrict your profile or certain content to only "friends" or to otherwise fit your comfort level. Please visit "Settings" on the righthand side of your profile wall and then click "privacy" to make changes.

9.) PrayerGroup has its own email system, so that your personal email address remains confidential. Since all PrayerGroup email is forwarded to your email address on file, there is never a reason for anyone to ask for your personal email information. They can simply send you a message from your profile page. If anyone asks you for your email address, please disregard the request. PrayerGroup administrators work daily to keep our community free of solicitors and we will frequently remove content we feel is suspect.

Again, we welcome you to PrayerGroup. If you need anything, you can find us here anytime... just click the round PrayerGroup logo from anywhere!
